CioccolanDossena 2024: the chocolate festival in Dossena for gourmets and lovers of tradition
A Journey of Taste: Chocolate, Sweets and Local Traditions
From 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., CioccolanDossena will transform the picturesque Via Don Pietro Rigoli and the churchyard of Dossena into a sensory journey full of chocolate sweets and other local delicacies. Among the main gastronomic attractions will be colourful pralines, steaming hot chocolate, and the famous Polenta with Nutella, all accompanied by a glass of mulled wine carefully prepared by the Alpini. This event is not only an opportunity to taste irresistible sweets, but also a chance to rediscover the flavours of Bergamo tradition.
This edition of CioccolanDossena 2024 brings with it a great novelty: a group of young people from Bergamo, specialised in medieval historical representations, will offer a unique experience to visitors. Medieval figures, dressed in period costumes, will move along the entire route of the event, creating a fascinating and interactive atmosphere. Visitors will be able to fully immerse themselves in the historical atmosphere and interact with the figurants – a not-to-be-missed experience for families and history enthusiasts!
Alongside the artisanal chocolate stands, CioccolanDossena also offers a selection of around 40 stalls offering typical local products, handicrafts and unique creations. This market is perfect for those in search of original Christmas gifts, handcrafted decorations or souvenirs of the Bergamo tradition.
Organised by the Dossena Youth Group Revival Association, the event is a perfect way to end the event season and celebrate the local community. The warm and welcoming atmosphere that characterises CioccolanDossena has become a hallmark, attracting visitors from all over the province of Bergamo and other regions.
